Pre-existing and Chronic Health conditions

All AXA Smart Health plans provide you with a cover for pre-existing conditions from day one of your insurance and with no waiting period* (whether it’s a chronic or a non-chronic medical condition). It’s very important that you fully declare all your medical conditions on the application form.

Cancer Cover

Get covered for major cancer treatments up to a specific limit for pre-existing cases if the illness started before your policy cover (depending on the Emirate of your residence), or up to your policy’s maximum annual limit if the illness started and was diagnosed after your policy effective date and which can reach up to AED 10 million.

Worldwide emergency medical assistance

Our evacuation and repatriation service are available for you 
24 hours per day, 365 days a year, anywhere in the world. International Emergency Medical Assistance is available on regional and international plans only.

Health screen check-up, alternative medicine & psychiatric treatment

These are benefits included into your insurance cover up to a special limit according to your plan. Please refer to your plan Table of benefits for full information about each benefit.

Dental cover*

This benefit will provide you with routine dental cover such as: consultation, extraction, composite and amalgam fillings, root canal treatment, scaling, bridgework and crowns (at a grade appropriate to restore function only) and the treatment of gum.

Personal accident

This cover is included in your health plan. This benefit provides a lump sum amount ranging from AED 25,000- 150,000 in case of accidental death.
